I'm loving the new galaxy print trend, and I can't find this print in any high street store. So I thought I would attempt to DIY. It was so easy to make and very cheap. You don't need to be an artist to make a t-shirt like this.
Here is my attempt at the DIY print trend on a t-shirt

Everything you need
-A baggy black t-shirt
-Fabric paints in colours red, blue, silver and White
-Cleaning bleach
-Plastic gloves

I put the t-shirt on a piece of card board so it's easier to paint on.

I added a little bit of paint of each colour to a sponge and pressed it all over the t-shirt to add a galaxy effect. This is so simple and easy to do.

I added blue fabric paint to the t-shirt, to add a better effect. Next step I used bleach, wear gloves when handling the bleach as it will burn the skin. Carefully add bleach to the sponge and dabb it generously over the t-shirt and you quickly see the effect of the bleach as it lightens the t-shirt to a orangey colour. Now use your paintbrush to splatter the white fabric paint over the t-shirt to add the finishing touches to your t-shirt.

Voila and the t-shirt is done :)

You can try the DIY on other clothing items like leggings, dresses etc.. If you try this send in your pictures :)
The new galaxy print is a new trend for this season. Inspired by the galaxy the colours mixed together look amazing. The print works well on t-shirts, leggings, shoes and accessories.
Added with a plain black skirt and pumps make this trend look fashion casual. A great outfit to wear in the day.

This image from lookbook.nu is a great way to show off the trend. Adding the print with a plain top. Doesn't make the outfit too garish. I love these leggings the colours really do stand out.

I have not seen this trend emerge into retail stores yet. So I'm going to do a bit of research and see how I can make this look with a bit of arts and crafts and i will blog the step by step instructions. So you can be bang on trend, at a little price.
